Add a Note

A new note can be added to a matter or contact.

To add a note

  1. Click the down arrow next to the Notes button.
  2. Select Add Note. The Note Details page displays.
  3. Click either the Contact or Matter option button.
  4. Search for the contact or matter to which you want to add the note.
  5. Select the Event Type.
  6. Enter the note in the Notes field.
  7. Click the Save button.

ProLaw Portal displays the note on the Note Events tab of the matter or contact in ProLaw Portal and on the Events tab in Desktop ProLaw.
